In the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress have announced an alliance in Haryana. With preparations for the elections gaining momentum, local leaders from both parties have begun discussions and strategizing.

Sushil Gupta, the state president of AAP in Haryana, held meetings with Congress leaders including former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Kumari Shelja in the capital city of Delhi. Gupta, who is contesting from the Kurukshetra constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, is actively engaging in dialogue with Congress leaders to strengthen the alliance.

Earlier, Gupta met with Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Singh Surjewala to discuss election preparations for the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat. The meeting, held at Surjewala’s office, focused on future strategies for the electoral battle.

Gupta expressed optimism about the alliance, stating that all members of the India Alliance are working diligently towards victory on the Kurukshetra seat.

Furthermore, Gupta claimed that the bail of the BJP candidate contesting from Kurukshetra would be canceled. Currently, the Kurukshetra seat is held by the BJP, represented by MP Nayab Singh.

AAP and Congress had previously announced a seat-sharing formula, with Congress contesting nine out of ten Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, leaving one seat for AAP, which is Kurukshetra.

Sushil Gupta, a former Rajya Sabha member, has been actively involved in state politics and is now gearing up for a new challenge in the Lok Sabha Elections. Stay tuned for more updates on the evolving political landscape in Haryana.
