In a significant move towards curbing the menace of substance abuse, the Haryana government, under the skillful leadership of Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal, has initiated the “Drug-Free Haryana” campaign. The campaign aims to create a society free from the clutches of addiction and promote a healthier and safer environment for the people of the state.
To further bolster the efforts of this campaign, a cycling event, known as the “Cyclothon,” will be organized from September 1st to September 25th. The event is scheduled to kick-start on September 1st, 2023, at 6 AM from the NDRi Chowk in Karnal. Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal will flag off the event, symbolizing the government’s commitment to the cause.
The “Drug-Free Haryana” campaign focuses on raising awareness about the detrimental effects of substance abuse and engaging the community in collective action to eliminate addiction from the state. The state government encourages citizens to actively participate in this noble initiative and contribute to making Haryana a substance-free region.
Joining forces with the campaign not only demonstrates solidarity with the government’s efforts but also empowers individuals to play a pivotal role in shaping a healthier and addiction-free future for the state. By working together, Haryana can pave the way for a brighter tomorrow, where its people thrive in a society unburdened by the chains of addiction.
The “Drug-Free Haryana” campaign and the upcoming Cyclothon reflect the administration’s dedication to the well-being of its citizens and the vision of a progressive and prosperous state. As the wheels of change set in motion, Haryana takes a resolute step towards a brighter and drug-free horizon.
